Linksys velop has different child nodes that form the Wi-Fi dead spot after attaching with the main node. So, as soon as you take the velop, do its unboxing, take out the node from the box, and connect it to the main modem with the power and ethernet cables that come along with it. First, connect the main node to the modem using an ethernet wire to run the Linksys velop setup procedure. But use other ethernet wires and insert ends into the velop and nodes’ ethernet ports. Ensure that the ethernet wires are long enough to make strong connections between these devices. Also, check that the wires and ports are working with or without operation. This way, you will do successful wiring to connect the velop to its nodes.
