How to Apply for an E-Waste Certificate Online
Step-by-Step Process to E-Waste Certificate Online:
- Visit CPCB Portal:
Go to https://eprportal.cpcb.gov.in - Create an Account:
Register as a Producer/Importer by submitting basic business details and KYC. - Prepare Required Documents:
- Company PAN & GST
- IEC Certificate (for importers)
- Product details (EEE codes)
- Estimated quantity of e-waste generated
- Copy of BIS certification (if applicable)
- MoU with authorized e-waste recyclers
- Submit Online Application:
Fill in the EPR application form, upload documents, and pay the government fee. - Verification & Approval:
CPCB will verify all submitted data. If compliant, they’ll issue your EPR Authorization a.k.a. E-Waste Recycling License in India.
